Archipel’s support and analytical expertise service are here to help
The Archipel Ontario Health Team (OHT) offers free support and analytical expertise to its partners to better support their initiatives where these align with the OHT’s priorities.
Here are some examples of the data available: census data, projections, emergency room visits, hospital admissions, medical services, primary care and long-term care. This data can be extracted and presented in various formats, such as maps, tables, by time period, by geographical region, etc.
The importance of data in supporting healthcare planning and development
Healthcare planning relies on high-quality data. Through the use of indicators and analytics, data enables us to gain an understanding of the health status of our population and their needs.
“Our partners often need data to support service planning, business decision-making, funding applications and other initiatives. But they do not always have easy access to the necessary data or analytical expertise. That is where we can support them,” explains Brian Schnarch, Performance and Analytics Lead at Archipel.
Data linked to Archipel's priorities
Data requests submitted by partners must align with Archipel’s priorities, such as equity, primary care, chronic conditions, mental health and addictions, other levels of care, and cancer screening.
How to submit a request
To submit a request, please complete the Data Request Form (Office Form).
The processing time for requests depends on the complexity of the information needed and the volume of requests.
