Elizabeth Tanguay

Director

Elizabeth Tanguay held the position of Director of the Ottawa East OHT since 2021, with her first mandate to lead the OTH's expansion as mandated by the authorities. With the successful merger of the Prescott-Russell team in development, the OHT became Archipel in 2023.

Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector in communications, marketing, business and partnership development, as well as team management. 

“Health is the ultimate wealth. We should all have access to it. My goal is to reduce inequities and barriers in health care.” Elizabeth applies a holistic approach to health and well-being in both her personal and professional life. She enjoys the outdoors and cooking. Spending time with her family near water or on the slopes is her way of regaining energy. 

Elizabeth holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Certificate in Health Law from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School. In 2022, she won two awards recognizing her leadership in health system management: the Robert Wood Johnson Award and the MHA Alumni Association Health Leadership Award. More recently, she received the 2023 Public Sector Leader Award from the Regroupement des gens d'affaires de la capitale nationale. Read the news story about this award.
