Activities and achievements of the BPSO Working Group
Archipel Postpartum Wellness Clinic
This clinic is for patients who gave birth in the Ottawa region and are experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression or anxiety, but who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. The clinic fills a gap by enabling these patients to obtain a quick consultation with a physician, and if necessary, a medical referral for a consultation with a psychiatrist. You can learn more about the clinic and benefits for patients in the article A grateful mother.
BPSO Designation
On June 20, 2024, members of the Archipel Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) attended the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) Annual General Meeting in Toronto to receive the long-awaited official designation. Thanks to their dedication, Archipel is now an Ontario Health Team that holds Best Practice Spotlight Organization designation! Achieving the RNAO's BPSO designation is the result of the Archipel BPSO Task Force member organizations' quest for excellence and demonstrates their commitment to continuous improvement.
